Roadie Media is a company that specialises in helping musicians deal with all things technical. You create and perform music, we create software tools, and perform technical miracles.
Who Are We?
Steven Baker is a veteran software industry professional, and a struggling beginner guitarist. With nearly three decades of experience, Steven is responsible for all things technical and difficult, and loves helping musicians find and interact with their audience online.
Nancy Blenkhorn is a jack-of-all trades, and has been know to wear many hats. With twenty-ish years in the industry, Nancy is the one that "makes your site look pretty" and also keeps the servers happy. She also spent eight years working backstage in the entertainment industry with a live theatre company.
What Do We Do?
All things technical is quite a wide net to cast, but we really mean it. We create and maintain websites, develop software tools to help you manage yourself online, and provide technical guidance whenever needed on a variety of topics.
No project is too big: do you want a custom mobile application that showcases your band and performances? We’ve got you covered. No project is too small: just need email and a simple website? We’ve got you covered.
White Glove Service
We offer white glove service, which is a (nearly) completely hands-off process for you. With our White Glove Service, we’ll set up your email, design and deploy your website, and even write blog articles, and update your social media with your latest news and events.
White Glove Service varies and is built to suit your needs, but the aim is that you only have to deal with us, and we’ll take care of everything else. We’ll meet regularly, and email occasionally when we need information from you such as tour dates, album release information, or pictures and videos to upload.
Software Tools
We have created some, and are experts in, a variety of software tools for those of you who want self-service. Some of the tools we’re developing are social media posting tools, ticket sales, tour management, venue management, tools for posting and teaching lessons online, with new things coming every day.
